Welcome to the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto.

We are Canada's largest pharmacy school and we have a world class reputation in education and research. We are proud of our rich tradition of excellence and our long history of delivering innovative educational programs. Our latest innovation, which began this September, is a new undergraduate professional curriculum that is focused on patient care and development of clinical practice skills. This new professional curriculum will ensure our students have the skills, experience and knowledge to succeed as pharmacists in a rapidly changing health care landscape.

Our professional curriculum reflects the increased scope of practice for pharmacists and the important role that they play in improving health outcomes for patients. The professional curriculum has an enhanced emphasis on experiential education and greatly increased education in medication therapy management and pharmacotherapy. Students will work in a mixture of small and large groups and apply their education in real world settings. An increased focus on interprofessional education and service-based learning will also prepare students to take on the new and emerging roles for pharmacists in the health care system.

We are truly excited about our new professional curriculum, and look forward to introducing the next generation of pharmacists into our Faculty.
